I have a few things I have been meaning to write about.
Tyler went to his first Dentist appointment on the 19th. He has a bit of an under bite, but the dentist says it can easily be fixed with braces since his top teeth are just slanted inward. His jaw is in the right place. He was pretty good while they were cleaning his teeth. He opened his mouth rediculously wide when they told him to open it. I wish I could have taken pictures, but all I had was a camera phone that wouldn't let me take a picture because the battery was too low.
We went to Lagoon this Monday (for our late anniversary present to each other) with our kids and Jeff's sister, Lori. Lori was there to babysit, but also got to go on a few rides. Ty had a lot of fun! He went on tons of rides, some of his favorites being the Scrambler and the Paratrooper. My favorite was Wicked. It was short, but very intense! The lines were very long. but it was worth it! Thanks for the help Lori!!!
Trisha went in a swimming pool for the first time yesterday. My sister-in-law Angie lives in a condo, so we get to go swimming with her during the summer. Trish didn't like it at all. I ended up sitting her on my lap with just her legs in the water instead of putting her in the baby floater we have. She ended up falling asleep after about 20 minutes.
We named Trisha after my sister that died of SIDS when she was 5 months old. Trish is 5 months old now. I just can't imagine what that would be like. Even at 5 months you already have so much love for your children! I am so grateful for all of the blessings I have, and especially for healthy kids and a happy, easy going baby!!!

Krammeroo!
Ty has a stuffed Kangaroo that he got from our friend in Australia. Yesterday he was jumping around the house with it yelling, "Krammeroo! Krammeroo!" It was so funny! I love how much he makes up songs and funny words and sings to songs he has heard. The song he sings the most is from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, "Hot dog hot dog hot diggity dog" which is easy to get stuck in your head all day long, lol! He also makes up songs while he is playing. He will narate what he is doing by singing it. I love that he seems to love music as much as I do.

May 7th, Happy 5th anniversary!
Wow, 5 years! It seems like much longer, but in a good way! God really blessed me with a wonderful husband! He does so much for me! He is a great dad. Our 5 month old especially thinks so. She stops to smile at him even if she is crying inconsolably! He does anything I ask without complaint and sacrifices so much for me! He has his moments, but he is a great example for me. I only hope I can learn from him and become a better person. I love you babe! Thanks for the great 5 years, andhere's to many more!!!

In Loving Memory of Jenn Jewkes
I am sad to announce that my good friend Jenn Jewkes passed away yesterday morning after a long battle with cancer. She was one of my Young Women leaders and such a wonderful person. She had two boys and a great husband that I will keep in my prayers. I saw her at a get-together just a few months ago. I remember talking to her children, who knew she didn't have long to live. I'm not sure how old they are, but they aren't teenagers yet. It was sad, but also good to hear them talk about how they understood what was going to happen. Jenn, you were a great person and I can't ever remember a time when you weren't smiling or laughing. You will be missed and I will keep your family in my prayers!

Trisha's Blessing
On May 3rd we had Trisha blessed. There are so many people that helped with it. I am so grateful to have such a giving family! My mom made her a beautiful dress. My dad blessed her and sis such a good job, and I'd like to thank my mom for writing it down. My mother-in-law let us have a get together at her house afterward, and so many people helped by bringing food and just being there. Trisha didn't get much sleep that day, and she has a little cold so she was pretty fussy. She fell asleep during the blessing, so luckily she just let out a little cry at the beginning and I guess the bouncing put her to sleep. Today she sounds terrible! Her poor little voice is so hoarse, and listening to her cry is harder because she sounds so sad. Colds really aren't a big deal, but I feel bad for babies when they get sick for the first time. I hope she feels better soon!
