Easter

Easter was fun with Tyler this year (not counting the tantrum he threw before and after the easter egg hunt). He was really excited when he woke up in the morning and found his basket of candy, a Cars chair, and a few other things. It was cute. The in the afternoon we drove to Magna to see Brittany and Gary's new house. We had a very good Easter dinner, and struggled to get Ty to eat just one bite so he could have some candy. He had already eaten a little bit, but I didn't want him to eat so much candy without a little bit of healthy food. By the time we started the hunt, he hadn't eaten the bite. But we still let him participate. At first all he did wa pick up leaves and put them in his basket. After a little while, and watching his cousins, he finally got the hang of it and found a lot of candy, crackers and boxed milk. By the time he was done, he needed help carrying his basket! Then we went inside. I tried once again to get him to eat another bite, but he resisted and threw a tantrum that lasted for what seemed like an hour. Finally he stuck a tomato in his mouth, which popped and sprayed out of his mouth. I think it scared him. He ran over to me and spit it in my hand. I decided that was good enough and let him have some candy. Overall, I had fun and I love Brittany and Gary's new house.
Today me and Ty went swimming at the Davis County Rec Center. Jeff got me a year pass last year for my b-day and I have only gone about 5 times. Ty had tons of fun. There is a kid pool there with slides and fountains and stuff. He went down the slide a couple of times. He loves water, so he was happy the whole time. Atleast until we were changing back into dry clothes. I stood him on a bench with a towel around his body. He slipped and fell, and coudn't get his arms out of his towell to break his fall so he hit his head on the floor. I'm such a bad mom :( He has a little bruise, but seems okay.
