Where is Spring?

Ok, so what is with this Utah weather? One day it's warm enough to go outside without a coat, and the next it snows? Where's the rain? Even that would be better than snow. I am so ready for warm weather! We keep turning our boiler off and on, thinking the weather will stay warm, only to be worried that Trisha might freeze at night. After being in Vegas, I've really been excited for good weather so Ty can go out and play instead of crawling all over me begging me to play with him while we are cooped up in the house. Plus, maybe the house will stay clean for longer than 5 minutes? And since I am not pregnant and sick this year, I am so excited to work in my garden!! I am going to have a nice yard this year. And we are going to paint our house so it doesn't look so terrible on the outside. It is white, but looks like it's rusted. I want to paint it a brownish gray. Hopefully we will get around to it this year.

Trisha has been staying awake during the day a lot more lately. She also really likes to be held, which makes it hard to keep up on housework. I haven't perfected the one hand cleaning skill quite yet this time a round. But the nice thing about her being older is that she sleeps all night! It's great! Ty started sleeping through the night at 3 months, too. We have good sleepers! I am thinking about moving her into Ty's room now. I am just worried that he will try to climb into her crib (right now she sleeps in a bassinet that we don't put her in until Ty is asleep). He is such a monkey! I swear he can get into anything! He has figured out how to open the fridge, so if I don't get up fast enough, he will grab a cup and a gallon of milk and bring it to me to get him a drink. At least he hasn't tried to pour it yet! He also swings in her swing all the time. It's a good thing he only weighs 25lbs! He's such a cutie. I love his little personality. Trisha's personality is showing a little, too. She has started cooing and she smiles so much! Although she mostly only smiles for Jeff. And he is one of the only people who can get her to laugh easily. I have to work at it. She's so fun, though. I really have great kids. All though they drive me crazy quite often, they really are great :)

It's fun to see how your kids are growing. You're a great Mommy Shelly.
