On Tuesday night I was up with Tyler probably about 6 times. He was crying and coughing and having a hard time falling back to sleep. His cough sounded like a dog barking, it sounded horrible! So between Ty and Trisha, I got pretty much no sleep. I took Ty into the doctor's last night and they said he has croup. He had croup last year too, and the doc said he must have a small throat because croup doesn't usually effect kids his age. He coughs all day, and hardly ever covers his mouth. I'm having a hard time teaching him to do that. Hopefully he doesn't give it to Trisha. We got him some steroids that are supposed to help open up his throat. He did really well last night. He only woke up once because Trisha was crying and I couldn't figure out what she wanted. She is starting to want to be held all the time and at night she will not stay asleep unless I am holding her. If anyone has suggestions on how to cure this, please let me know! She is a noisy sleeper so I don't get good sleep when I am in the same room as her. She is so cute, though! And she is getting big. She can almost fit into newborn sized clothes and the newborn diapers fit her perfectly. The doctor weighed Ty, and he is 26.6lbs! I bet Trisha will be bigger than him when she is his age. She has been growing faster than he ever did.

I got this DVD from the library when Eva was a few months old and it helped a lot. I found a website that has some of the video footage. You can probably find it at the library, it's called "The happiest baby on the block"
I hope you get some sleep good luck!
