I Got A New Camera!

And I am hoping it will encourage me to blog more often. It's a Cannon Rebel T3 SLR. I don't want to be professional, but I do want to have good quality photos. Jeff got it for me for my Anniversary/Mother's Day gift. I love it so far! It is pretty complicated, but I will hopefully have enough motivation to read and learn everything about it :)

Our anniversary, May 7th, was the day before Mother's Day this year. Jeff got off work and we spent the morning with our kids. We went on 2 bike rides with our new bikes we found on KSL. St. George has such beautiful scenery! Last week we went on a long bike ride with the kids and saw more than a dozen wild rabbits. They ran across the bike trail, and there was a field with quite a few of them all together. Ty and Trisha loved seeing them! Anyway, that night our neighbor Amy Knight watched them for 5 hours while Jeff and I went to see Thor, went to dinner at Anasazi Grill, and went shopping. Thor was awesome and I recommend everyone to go see it! It was funny and full of awesome action!! Anasazi Grill was pretty cool. They brought raw meat out on a hot brick so we could cook it the way we wanted it. The food was so good!! Then we just went shopping for random things we needed, but it was so nice to do it without the kids, lol!

Ty's last day of soccer is May 21st. He has really done well. He participates and I think he is starting to get the idea of team work. We want to put him in swimming lessons next. We have a pool available to us and we go a lot, so I think it would be fun for him to learn. Trisha is getting more brave in the water. For a while she would just run around the pool and never get in, but yesterday we went and she tried to float with arm floaties. Her head went under, so it didn't last long. But she loves to use her inner tube and she can touch the 2ft area on her tip toes!

Here are some pictures:

Our new bikes! They are exactly the same.

Ty's Bearded Dragon, Skeletor. He is 6 weeks old and so cute!!

Cute Picture of Ty

Trisha showing owl craft she made.

The setting I was playing around with was the aperture. It blurs out the background and focuses on the closest thing, which in Trisha's pic were her owls, lol! I will try to post more and practice and get better! Stay posted!
