Contractions?

I woke up last night having really bad cramping pains on my left side. As I lay there, I realized that my stomach muscles were getting really tight right before the pain. They were somewhere between 1 and 3 minutes apart, very irregular. This kept me awake for about 3 hours. I have been having them throughout today every once in a while. I was pretty worried last night that I may be going into labor. If my water breaks while she is in the breech position, I will have to get to the hospital ASAP! I never had contractions with Ty until I was induced, and these were the first ones I had noticed during this pregnancy. But they never got unbearable. I'm pretty sure it was just false labor. It did get my hopes up, though. In a little over a week she will be considered full term (37 weeks), and she will be fine to come any time after that. I'm fine with her coming that early! I know they are harder to take care of when they are out, but I am so ready to be done with this pregnancy. It's nice to know that if she doesn't come on her own, she will be born in 3 to 4 weeks! I am so excited!
