False Hope

This pregnancy has been very eventful. Today I went in for yet another NST and was sent to the hospital once more. The midwife was concerned about her size. I have been measuring the same since 33 weeks, so she thought maybe this baby had what Ty had, IUGR (Intrauterine growth restriction). She thinks the baby weighs about 5 to 6 lbs. She told me to bring the things I would need if I was going to be admitted to the hospital. She was pretty sure I would be. The ultrasound showed the baby is actually only 2 weeks smaller than she should be, so unfortunately I was sent me home with yet another bill to pay. The only cool thing that came from this was that my mom was able to come and see an ultrasound for the first time. It wasn't as detailed as it would have been if the baby was smaller, but I hope it was a cool experience for her. Thanks for coming to support me, Mom! Anyway, the delivery date is set for the 17th. I'm going to have a c-section. If this day falls through, I'm gonna cry!!! Wish me luck!

A tip for next time you are pregnant.(if there is going to be a next time?) At Later Dr appointments use the stairs if there are any. Try holding your breath as much as posible from the time they weigh you to the time they take your blood pressure. If you have an elevated blood pressure every time they read it then they might induce you. Happened 2 times to me. However I had a history of High blood pressure with andrew through the whole pregnancy. So maybe scratch that Idea. I really hope all goes well for you tomorrow. I expect pictures by next monday!!! ;0 J/K. Enjoy the joys of having 2 kids and if you ever need someone to talk to let me know. Love Ya!!! ~Em

Your baby is beautiful, happy recovery, ok I know it probably wont be happy. It seemed like forever with my last, I am just starting to feel pretty good again. They are so worth it though.
I a glad you planned the c-section, it makes for a much better recovery. I hope all goes well, and have a merry Christmas.
