Christmas

I must be going crazy because I thought for sure I had already posted a Christmas entry! I am losing my mind! I swear my memory is worse since Trisha was born. Anyway, here we go again maybe? On Christmas eve we went to Jeff's parents house. We had a wonderful dinner, and I could eat whatever I wanted because I don't have GDM anymore!! But I am still trying to eat healthy. I felt so much better eating what I ate when I was pregnant. After dinner we did the traditional Nativity reenactment. It was pretty special for me because Jeff and I were able to be Mary and Joseph, and Trisha was baby Jesus. When I was pregnant with Ty I was Mary. It really makes the play seem a little more real. We also sang Christmas songs, and the grandkids (Ty, Sadie, Brandon and Nathan) sang a rehearsed Christmas program. It was so cute to watch Ty try and sing the words and do the actions. He gets so into things like that. We also got to listen to John and Lori play songs on the piano and the guitar. Then we sang "The 12 days of Christmas" Ty wanted 4 Christmases. What a silly kid :)
On Christmas Day we woke Ty up around 7. He was pretty mad at first, until he saw the presents under the tree and we got him excited to go see Sadie, his most favorite person in the whole world. We then went to Jeff's parents to have breakfast and open presents. After that we went to SLC to see my family. My cousin, Susan, got to see Trisha for the first time. I love showing her off! We then had another great dinner and opened more presents. We were all spoiled this year. Thanks for all the nice things everyone! And thanks for the memories. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love getting together with family, and Christmas really is a special time. And this year really has been extra special. We got a beautiful, healthy baby girl.

Did you know that every time you have a baby you loose half of your brain cells? Not Really but it sure feels that way. I am glad that you are doing well. and that you can now eat whatever. Hope all is well with you and the Fam. Love Ya!! ~Em
